Sunshine Camp Shirley’s Playland

A fully accessible playground will be the newest addition to the Sunshine Camp. Shirley’s Playland is named for Shirley Isaac, wife of past Rochester Rotary President Jim Isaac, who loved children and the Sunshine Camp. There is no better tribute to her memory than a fun, accessible playground at the camp.

Campers can enjoy such amenities as a slide and glider, a spinner, gravity cube, climbers, chin-up bars, ball toss, towers, a sign language panel, a sight and sound panel, and more.

Rochester Rotary was thrilled with the numerous donations of time, equipment, and dollars to fund the construction of Shirley’s Playland at Sunshine Camp.  Now that it is built, it’s ready for campers to create lasting memories.  Donations are being accepted to send campers to attend Sunshine Camp and experience the playland and other amenities firsthand.
